How long should I stay in Istanbul for recovery?
For international patients, the recommended minimum stay is 5–7 days.
During this period, the initial dressings, follow-up examinations, and necessary monitoring are completed.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the procedure?
It is generally safe to travel by plane 3–5 days after the procedure.
However, for long flights, positions that do not strain the arm should be preferred, and plenty of water should be consumed.
Your surgeon will determine the most appropriate timing based on your individual condition.
What will my post-operative care be like when I return home?
In the early post-operative period, all follow-ups are performed directly by our surgeon, and patients are allowed to return to their home country once they no longer require dressings. In the following weeks, additional check-ups are conducted via video calls. Before leaving Istanbul, patients receive detailed instructions, and all necessary care videos are shared with them.
Will language be a barrier?
