How long does the surgery take?
The average duration of the surgery is between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.

Is the surgery painful?
Since the procedure is performed under general anesthesia, no pain is felt during the surgery.
A mild feeling of tightness may occur after the operation, but this is usually easily managed with pain relievers.
How long do the results last?
Although the longevity of a forehead lift may vary from person to person, the results typically last for 8–10 years.
While mild changes may occur over time due to the natural aging process, the brow and forehead area never return to their pre-surgery appearance.
Will I have visible scars?
Since the incisions are made within the hair-bearing scalp, the scars are not visible from the outside.

How long should I stay in Istanbul for recovery?
For patients coming from abroad, staying in Istanbul for approximately 7–10 days is sufficient.
During this period, check-ups, dressing changes, and early-stage healing are monitored.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the procedure?
In general, it is safe to fly 5–7 days after the procedure.
To ensure reduced swelling and a more comfortable experience during pressure changes, it is recommended to complete the first week before flying.
What will my post-operative care be like when I return home?
In the early post-operative period, all follow-ups are performed directly by our surgeon, and patients are allowed to return to their home country once they no longer require dressings. In the following weeks, additional check-ups are conducted via video calls. Before leaving Istanbul, patients receive detailed instructions, and all necessary care videos are shared with them.
