After the implant is secured, the incisions are closed and bandages are applied. This technique minimizes the appearance of visible external scars.
How long does the surgery take?
The duration varies depending on the type of procedure and the area where the implant will be placed, but it is typically completed within 45 minutes to 2 hours.
Is the surgery painful?
After the procedure, patients may feel mild pain or pressure in the treated area; however, this is usually well controlled with prescribed pain medications. The majority of patients do not experience significant discomfort beyond the first few days.
How long do the results last?
Facial implants are designed to be long-lasting. The implant materials used are durable, and once placed, they integrate well with the natural structure of the face. In most cases, the results are permanent and do not require additional procedures.
Will I have visible scars?
Because the incisions are usually made inside the mouth or along natural facial lines, there are no noticeable visible scars from the outside. Incisions made inside the mouth are completely invisible, while small external incisions fade significantly over time.

How long should I stay in Istanbul for recovery?
For patients coming from abroad, staying in Istanbul for 7–10 days is usually sufficient. During this period, follow-up appointments are completed, early healing is monitored, and potential complications are prevented.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the procedure?
It is generally safe to travel by plane 5–7 days after the surgery, once the first follow-up examination is completed and your doctor has given approval. However, since each patient’s healing process is different, the final decision should always be made after a medical evaluation.
What will my post-operative care be like when I return home?
In the early post-operative period, all follow-ups are performed directly by our surgeon, and patients are allowed to return to their home country once they no longer require dressings. In the following weeks, additional check-ups are conducted via video calls. Before leaving Istanbul, patients receive detailed instructions, and all necessary care videos are shared with them.
Will language be a barrier?
