In these techniques, entry is made through the hair-bearing scalp or through small, hidden incisions; the brow tissue is lifted and secured in a higher position. The procedure is fully customized for each individual.
How long does the surgery take?
A brow lift typically takes between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours. The duration may vary depending on the chosen technique and whether it is combined with additional procedures (such as upper eyelid surgery).
Is the surgery painful?
Mild tightness and sensitivity may be felt after the surgery; however, severe pain is not expected. Any discomfort is usually manageable with simple pain relievers.
How long do the results last?
The results of a brow lift are long-lasting. On average, the effects remain for 5–10 years; however, this duration may vary depending on the individual’s aging process, skin quality, and lifestyle.
Will I have visible scars?
Incisions are typically made within the hair-bearing scalp or along natural crease lines. Therefore, once healing is complete, the scars become barely noticeable and are not visible to the naked eye.

How long should I stay in Istanbul for recovery?
For patients coming from abroad, staying in Istanbul for approximately 4–7 days is usually sufficient. During this period, follow-up appointments are completed, and the healing status is assessed before the return flight.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the procedure?
It is generally safe to travel by plane 3–5 days after the surgery, as long as your doctor confirms there is no risk. Because of pressure changes, flying is not recommended in the first couple of days, so obtaining approval after your follow-up examination is important.
What will my post-operative care be like when I return home?
In the early post-operative period, all follow-ups are performed directly by our surgeon, and patients are allowed to return to their home country once they no longer require dressings. In the following weeks, additional check-ups are conducted via video calls. Before leaving Istanbul, patients receive detailed instructions, and all necessary care videos are shared with them.
Will language be a barrier?
