Dermal Filler
Filler applications are aesthetic procedures performed using hyaluronic acid or other advanced filler materials to restore volume loss in the facial area, enhance contour definition, and achieve a younger, more balanced appearance.

Most Frequently Asked Questions
How is the surgery performed?
The filler material is injected into the targeted area using fine cannulas or needles.
Before the procedure, the treatment area is cleaned with an antiseptic, and in most cases, a local anesthetic cream is applied to enhance comfort.
The procedure is performed in a fully controlled manner and in accordance with facial anatomy.
How long does the surgery take?
A filler procedure takes approximately 15–30 minutes.
The duration may be slightly longer depending on the number of areas being treated.
Is the surgery painful?
Generally, aside from a slight stinging or pressure sensation, no significant pain occurs.
Since most filler materials contain local anesthetic, the procedure is highly comfortable.
How long do the results last?
Depending on the type of filler material, the treatment area, and the person’s metabolic rate, results typically last between 12–18 months.
Some structural fillers can remain in areas such as the chin or cheekbones for up to 18–24 months.
What are the risks?
Swelling and bruising
Asymmetry / temporary irregularities
Risk of infection (very rare)
Accumulation of filler in an undesired area
Allergic reaction (very unlikely)
Rare but serious complications such as vascular occlusion
For this reason, it is extremely important that the procedure is performed by an experienced physician.

How long should I stay in Istanbul for recovery?
You do not need to stay in Istanbul for an extended period after a filler procedure.
In most cases, it is suitable to leave the city on the same day or the following day.
If a follow-up appointment is needed, it is usually scheduled for 1–2 weeks later.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the procedure?
Yes. It is generally safe to travel by plane on the same day after a filler procedure.
However, if the treatment was performed on areas with intense muscle movement (such as the lips), it may be recommended to wait 24 hours to avoid situations that could increase swelling.
What will my post-operative care be like when I return home?
In the early post-operative period, all follow-ups are performed directly by our surgeon, and patients are allowed to return to their home country once they no longer require dressings. In the following weeks, additional check-ups are conducted via video calls. Before leaving Istanbul, patients receive detailed instructions, and all necessary care videos are shared with them.
Will language be a barrier?
No. Our clinic provides English-speaking coordinators and interpreter services for international patients, ensuring smooth communication at every stage.
What should I bring with me when traveling abroad for surgery?
