How is the surgery performed?

The implant is positioned either beneath the breast tissue or under the muscle. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia, and patients may be discharged the same day or stay in the hospital for one night.
How long does the surgery take?
Breast implant surgery typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The duration may vary depending on the patient’s anatomy and the type of implant being used.
Is the surgery painful?
Mild to moderate discomfort may be experienced during the first few days, but with modern surgical techniques and effective pain-management methods, the process is generally very comfortable. Most patients are able to return to their daily activities within 3–5 days.
How long do the results last?
High-quality silicone implants used today can safely remain in place for 10–15 years or even longer. When the implant reaches the end of its lifespan, shows changes in shape, or if the patient wishes to adjust the volume, a revision procedure can be performed.
Will I have visible scars?
Because the incisions are kept small, scars are generally not noticeable. They may appear slightly pink during the first few months but gradually fade and blend with the skin tone over time. With proper scar-care creams and appropriate follow-up, the visibility of the scars is minimized.

It is recommended that patients coming from abroad stay in Istanbul for 7–10 days. This period is ideal for post-operative check-ups, dressing changes, and monitoring the early healing process.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the procedure?
Most patients can safely travel by plane within 5–7 days after the surgery. However, it is important to complete the initial check-ups and obtain your surgeon’s approval before flying.
What will my post-operative care be like when I return home?
In the early post-operative period, all follow-ups are performed directly by our surgeon, and patients are allowed to return to their home country once they no longer require dressings. In the following weeks, additional check-ups are conducted via video calls. Before leaving Istanbul, patients receive detailed instructions, and all necessary care videos are shared with them.
Will language be a barrier?
